“Les Misérables” Act II
Les Misérables is a musical composed in 1980 by French composer Claude-Michel Schönberg, with a French-language libretto by Alain Boublil. Based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel of the same name, set in early 19th-century France, the plot follows the stories of many characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution. An ensemble that includes prostitutes, student revolutionaries, factory workers, and others join the lead characters.

To ask what is your name to a stranger or somebody older than you ask, “Comment vous appelez-vous?”. For somebody your own age or younger than you ask, “Comment tu t’appelles?” To answer, say “Je m’appelle + Your Name. So, I’d say, “Je m’appelle David.”
